Drayen.com was born on September 7th 2004

Presentation : Drayen Labie is a guitarist from the Reunion Island, who settled in Tours, France, a few years ago. Experienced musician, he's following intensive studies in jazz and improvised music.
Young but with a furnished résumé (he was first a drum player then a singer), he now expresses himself with a guitar, through a numerous of musical experiences, going from World Music (with the Massak Afrobeat Orchestra at the London Jazz Café) to Jazz Fusion (several gigs with the trio Yakoma) and Reggae (Nya Azania's 2003 French Tour).
Drayen now plays with the gospel group Maniwata, the ethnic jazz group Yakoma, hte electric jazz band Serein Gaxar Quartet and the funky Band At The Party.
Lessons :
With a passion for a great number of musical styles, he teaches how to play his favorite instrument within 3 musicl schools in Tours, including PROMOZIK Association. His students are aged from 6 to 55 years and learn to play jazz as well as pop music, rock or metal.
